It is considered a non-scrupulous raptor that threatens hares, partridges and tortoises most of which are beloved by local people. That is why it is a challenge to protect it and highlight its importance for the ecosystems through changing the attitude of local people. The area holds between 5 and 8 breeding pairs of Golden Eagle, that represents 7 % of the national species’ population.
